Program Description:
Our Hitting Fundamentals class teaches young baseball and softball players the core skills of successful batting - from proper stance and grip to swing mechanics and timing. This 2-week program focuses on fun-focused learning and positive coaching that helps kids develop a love for hitting and build confidence at the plate.
This is about giving kids the fundamental tools to enjoy batting while building confidence and skills. Whether your child is just starting out or wants to improve their current swing, this class provides take-home drills and techniques that help them continue learning and getting better long after the sessions end!
Program Details
Format: 2-Week Class (2 sessions total)
Ages: 10-12U baseball and softball players
Duration: 75 minutes per session
Group Size: 6 slots available for personalized instruction (each slot allows 2 participants for our Bring-a-Buddy Program)
Experience Level: All levels welcome - no hitting experience required
Location: SkanStrength
Dates: October 21st and October 28th
Equipment: Please bring a bat and a batting helmet!
Bring a Buddy Pricing: $80.00 for 2-Week Session ($40.00 per session x 60 minute sessions)
Bring a Buddy Program: The cost of this program allows you to bring a friend with you! Our Bring a Buddy Pricing is our way of keeping sports affordable and accessible while building friendships through shared experiences.
What to Bring: Baseball gloves for both players, athletic clothes, water bottles, and positive attitudes! No cleats needed.
What We'll Cover:
-Proper batting stance and grip
-Swing mechanics and timing
-Hand-eye coordination drills
-Approach at the plate
-Take-home drills for continued improvement
